Dr Afridi completed her neurology training in London and attained her PhD at the Institute of Neurology, Queen Square.
She has been a consultant neurologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust since 2013 where she established the Headache service in the neurology department.
She has served as a BASH councillor and a trustee for the Migraine Trust and is on the scientific committee for Migraine Trust International Symposium and the ABN Headache advisory group.
She is an honorary senior lecturer at King’s College, London
