Isobel is a PhD student at King’s College London, UK, working in the group of Dr Philip Holland and Professor Peter Goadsby. Isobel’s research focuses on the neurobiology of headache disorders, with a particular interest in the hypothalamus and its potential role in cluster headache.
She is currently based in the Netherlands undertaking a human post-mortem study in collaboration with Dr Rolf Fronczek at Leiden University, and Professor Dick Swaab’s group at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience. Through this work, Isobel aims to improve our understanding of the biological mechanisms that drive cluster headache.
