Dr David PB Watson graduated from Aberdeen University in 1984 and worked as a GP Partner for 35 years. He has over 21 years’ experience as a GP with an extended role in headache at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
David chaired the SIGN 107 guideline on headache (2008) and made significant contributions to SIGN 155 “Pharmacological management of Migraine (2018, 2023,2026). He has led and advised on several national projects, including a pharmacist education initiative with The Migraine Trust and NHS Grampian.
Passionate about medical education, he is vice chair of the British Association for the Study of Headache.
