Professor Fayyaz Ahmed is a consultant neurologist and honorary professor at the Hull York Medical School and the Hull University Teaching Hospitals.
He is a treasurer of the International Headache Society (IHS), Honorary Chair of the headache advisory group at the Association of British Neurologists (ABN) and Honorary advisor to the British Association for the Study of Headache (BASH). He qualified from Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan and received his training at the St James Hospital Leeds and Imperial College, London.
He was trained in headache at the Princess Margaret Migraine Clinic at Charing Cross Hospital, London and has published extensively in this field.
